Summary:
Participate in WGs to assess issues and provide recommendations to the Government representatives from the DES SL for resolution.
Analysis will be required at all levels, from assessment of issues involving a single soldier to analyze metrics published in SMS, IDES Guidebook, PAD regulations and various DoD manuals/Instructions and compliance on an enterprise level.
These WGs will meet on a weekly to monthly basis.
The CSP shall take notes, analyze, and provide recommendations.
Analysis shall be comprehensive and concise.
Essential Job Functions:
Retrieve weekly the Master Loss Consolidated Report (2,000
records) from Army G-1 and combine with the Cumulative Master Loss Consolidation Report (400K
records) which consist of all the records from Army G-1 reported during a specific timeline.
These weekly data retrievals will be part of the Service Treatment Record (STR) Timeliness Report.
Generate the STR Timeliness Report every Monday.
This task consist of a data base export and consolidation of reports from the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Records Processing Center (ARPC) and the Master Loss Consolidation report and then data import to the Timeliness Report tool in Microsoft Access.
Additional reports generated are the Days to Complete, Days to Mail and Days to Notify Frequency reports.
This report is utilized by the Chief of PAD to brief the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (OUSD (P&R)), DoD/VA Collaboration Office (DVCO).
Share the STR Timeliness Report with OTSG/MEDCOM Patient Administration staff and OUSD (P&R), DVCO staff as required by the Government.
Save electronically the STR Timeliness Report, three Frequency Reports, Master Loss Consolidated Report, Raw Data Weekly Report, the Master Loss Revoked Report and the Consolidated Single Point of Entry (SPOE) reports in the appropriate folders on the designated share drive on a weekly basis.
Reconfigure the Raw Data Report which will consist of approximately 2,000
records and upload into the Annex L historical database in the pertinent drive.
Complete on a weekly basis a comparison analysis of STRs uploaded in the database within the 45 calendar day DoD standard or the current published DoD standard for all Components (COMPOs).
Review Army AHLTA legal corrections that are routed through OTSG PAD.
Forward the AHLTA correction trouble tickets to the DHA point of contact for action.
There can be approximately 20-25 Army AHLTA legal correction requirements a week.
Attend the monthly AHLTA trouble ticket meeting and provide updates as required.
The CSP shall share updates of the meeting with the Government, as well as disseminate information to all 72 HIPAA compliance and Privacy Officers and their designees.
Assist with AHLTA legal corrections training and guidance for new HIPAA compliance officers upon request from the Government.
Assist in troubleshooting AHLTA technical problems as required by the Government.
Share mandatory HIPAA information with the Regional HIPAA compliance officers as requested by the Government.
Serve as the liaison between EHR system users, OTSG PAD, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Clinical Informatics to request access to EHR systems (AHLTA, HAIMS, etc.
).
Support the drafting and refining of OTSG/MEDCOM policies before they expire and when requested by the SL leadership every two years.
The CSP shall follow Army guidelines and provided templates when drafting these policies.
Attend and capture due outs in monthly or quarterly reviews at the OTSG/MEDCOM, DHA, ASA M&RA, and HQDA level.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
Must have extensive knowledge of AHLTA.
Must have experience with overall functions of Patient Administration field.
Must have experience providing a range of services including medical records administration.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in a business or medical related field or a minimum of four years of experience in a patient administration field.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Knowledge with medical military systems is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
