The Senior Epic Certified Systems Analyst Implements and maintains Epic ASAP and other relevant clinical applications.
Incorporates technical expertise to ensure optimal outcomes and serves as a technical expert in Epic ASAP application.
Maintains certification requirements.
Follows standards for technical practice.
Consistently incorporates a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional approach to analysis and problem solving.
Ensures the Electronic Health record database is maintained correctly to prevent the loss or corruption of data as well as ensuring appropriate end user workflows and patient safety.
Manages integrated testing and meets project build deadlines.
Meets service level agreements for Incident closure and Change requests.
Communicates project and team status to internal and external audiences including operational teams, vendors, executive sponsors, etc.
Serves in an on-call capacity on a rotating basis.
RequirementsExperienceRecent/relevant project management and technical experience in applicable module of EpicCare System.
Good communication skills, ability to work independently.
Preferred experience in managing a systems project from initiation to completion.
Preferred experience in Epic ASAP module and knowledge of Emergency Room workflows.
TrainingSystems analysis and design, database concepts, cost and benefit analysis CertificationEpicCare ASAP Certification/Proficiency to configure system.
Special SkillsInformation Technology related project management and computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
Verbal and written communication skills, technical knowledge of coordinating, configuring and building healthcare IT to drive quality improvement and safety goals.
Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for health system EHRs.
