Demonstrates leadership and independent judgment necessary to support an effective work environment.
Develops and assists in continuous performance improvement within the department in order to maintain optimal quality patient care.
Manages the overall operations of the section to ensure quality patient care and customer satisfaction.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Imaging principles and techniques.
Defines standards for quality and evaluates process/service against those standards.
Working knowledge of effective utilization of department operating budget in areas of accountability.
Demonstrates the initiative to stay abreast of current technology and shows evidence of professional growth.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge and understanding of radiation protection and safety principles and procedure.
Imaging Coordinator:
MRI licensure required, CT licensure a plus.
8 hour days, M-F, radiation oncology patients RequirementsImaging Coordinator:
MRI licensure required, CT licensure a plus.
8 hour days, M-F, radiation oncology patientsFive years of applicable imaging experience as a Cat Scan Technologist, Mammography Technologist, Interventional Radiology Technologist or Nuclear Medicine technologist in a healthcare/hospital environment.
Graduate of an accredited school/program of Radiology or Nuclear MedicineARRT or CNMT (Nuclear Medicine) registered , with additional certification in CAT Scan, Mammography, DEXA, Interventional Radiology(CV.
CI or VI) as applicable :
BLSMust be licensed as required by the State of employment if employed at an INOVA free standing Imaging Center or Nuclear Medicine Department not affiliated with one of the INOVA Hospitals.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
