The IT Systems Administrator is an experienced IT Generalist responsible for enhancing, building, and maintaining Kastle Systems' IT infrastructure assets including Windows Operating Systems, VMware Infrastructure, switches, and routers; providing technical support to internal customers; providing hardware support for servers and personal computers; staying abreast of new technologies and techniques concerning computer-related subjects, especially personal computing, virtualization and networks.
Responsibilities
Maintain and support internal enterprise systems including switches, routers, servers, SANs, and phone systems.
Complete assigned IT projects to further the Kastle Systems IT ecosystem.
Repair and/or provide technical advice on the workings of all computers and other hardware.
Configure new servers and PCs appropriately as required.
Perform special projects as assigned.
Provide routine hardware support for in-house computers, telephone systems, and other communication IT equipment.
Participate in a weekly on-call rotation with other personnel for 24-hour instant-response.
Must be willing to participate in and pass the company's pre-employment screening process including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record.
Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver's license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet state licensing requirements for security.
Must be able to meet client background and suitability screening when required to access client's data and/or site.
All other duties as reasonably assigned.
Based on the requirements of the contracts being serviced out of a particular office, US citizenship may be required for employment in certain locations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems
VCP4 or VCP5 certification a plus
Five years professional experience in a technical role
Experience with program design, hardware maintenance, operating systems, local and wide area networking.
Knowledge of Microsoft computer networks and systems.
Knowledge of VMware virtualization and Storage Area Networks.
Broad knowledge of personal computers at the laptop and desktop level.
Working knowledge of various communications protocols and hardware, i.e. Ethernet, TCP/IP, switches, routers.
Good documentation/technical writing skills.
Ability to interface and communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner.
Good typing skills and ability to operate a standard computer terminal and keyboard.
Available to work extra hours and during non-business hours as needed.
Ability to work well in a group.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
