Description
The Senior Financial Task Managers will assist financial managers in their decision-making processes by providing relevant and reliable financial information to help our government customer meet the requirements of the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR). The Task Manager will direct completion of project-specific tasks; will manage day-to-day activities and will review work products for quality, completeness, and adherence to customer requirements.
Requirements for the position
Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance
CPA, CISA and/or CIA certification
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management related discipline
A minimum of 20 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits each fiscal year; 120 CPE credits over a three-year rolling period
Five (5) years of accounting or financial management experience, including three (3)
years leading business management and/or financial management services projects
Experience performing financial statement audits in the Department of Defense, federal agencies, or commercial Fortune 400 organizations and/or preparation of assertion packages
Experience leading large, complex engagements and complex teams
Familiarity with Department of Defense and Air Force financial management policies and procedures
Audit readiness preparation for an SBR or PP&E audit IAW FIAR Guidance
Preparations and/or reviews of SBR or E&C assessable unit assertion packages IAW FIAR Guidance
GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR experience
FASAB, SSAC and SFFAS experience
OMB Circulars A-123, A-127, A-134, A-136 and other OMB policies
Air Force policies, systems, and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property and material management
Familiarity with JOCAS and FMS, CDFM, or CGFM

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
