Responsibilities:
Assist with systems engineering (SE) related functional/technical, quality, and configuration management (CM) assessments and audits of IT programs'' lifecycle requirements, documents and data and their compliance with DoD acquisition policies and regulations. Support the establishment of SE and CM processes and procedures in large-scale DoD environments in an active, client-facing government Program Management Office (PMO).
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Systems Analysis, or similar related field with 5 years progressive related experience. Masters degree, Professional certificates in SE, CM, current PMP certification, an understanding of the DoD environment, and/or experience using CM or life cycle tracking tools (e.g. Rational tool suite) a strong plus.
Must have strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a project team on a client site. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to pass a DoD Background investigation, or hold current DoD clearance. Must be able to work in the Merrifield, VA area.

Experience:
Experienced professional with 5-10
years experience in the DoD information technology environment with an emphasis on SE, CM, requirements management, testing and/or systems life cycle management.

Working at a computer or desk (considerations: sitting, eye, hands) 80%. May involve long periods of sitting or standing depending on current tasking
Work Environment:
For office work: An inside environment/cubicle (considerations: closed quarters, close together, lighting). Needs to be able to work well with co-workers and clients. Needs to have clear, concise and accurate communication skills. Independent personal transportation to office is required. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions.
Equipment and Machines:
Personal computer (70%), laser printer (5%), copy machines (5%), scanner (5%), telephone (5%), fax machine (2%), and other office equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools.
Attendance:
Regular hours will be between Monday Core business hours - Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
