$100,000 to $120,000

This urgent care clinic provides expanded medical care to the Falls Church communityIts owner-operator is a dedicated physician who, together with a team of skilled healthcare professionals, provides a full scope of urgent care services in a comforting, efficient environmentThe organization operates multiple urgent care centers in Virginia, and the Falls Church location opened in 2020.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
On average during a 12-hour shift, a provider will treat 40 patients with the help of a dedicated clinical assistant to room, prep, and assist as needed.
Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
obtaining history of present illness performing physical examination ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiologic testing prescribing medications stabilizing patients with high acuity medical issues Procedures include, but are not limited to:
venipuncture and peripheral line placement dressing changes and wound management application of splints incision and drainage of simple abscesses removal of foreign bodies suturing of simple wounds or lacerations removal of sutures or staples The clinic uses an EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
Virginia NP license FNP certification DEA 2
years advanced practice experience 1
