This position will manage all aspects of collections and aged receivable follow ups as they coordinate with the accounting department to ensure all outstanding payments are received in an efficient and timely manner.
The candidate must be detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team of billing professionals.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as the position requires contact with all levels professionals.
AR Specialist Duties Contact customers with a delinquent balance on their account via phone and email and keep detailed record of the collections process for each outstanding invoice.
Review and update report of all outstanding invoices in order to follow up with customers on a weekly basis.
Update database with contact information of customers they have spoken to.
Report to the accounting department regarding aged receivables collection progress and notify if additional follow up is needed.
Monday through Thursday schedule, with flexibility.
Potential for growth into a fulltime position.
Qualifications (computer & communication skills, training, certification, etc.
):
Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Organized and detail oriented.
Skill in establishing workload priorities and managing multiple tasks.
Effective as an individual and part of a team.
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.

years Customer service experience.
Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
