The Major Gifts Officer plays a critical role in expanding Capital Caring's donor base and increasing contributions.
Reporting to the VP, Resource Development, the Major Gifts Officer will work to generate new individual donor prospects, deepen engagement of existing donors, and work to cultivate and steward significant donor relationships.
The successful candidate will take personal satisfaction in matching donor interests to strategic goals and will be a sophisticated relationship builder with an understanding of the key principles of portfolio management.
Experience Requirements The Major Gifts Officer must have at least 5 years of experience with non-profit fundraising programs.
A background in healthcare and grateful patient fundraising and/or experience supporting and working with Senior Leaders in a development program is preferred.
Education Requirements The Major Gifts Officer must have at least a Bachelors degree in a related field.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
