Inova Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a nursing job in Falls Church, Virginia.

Staff The MCCSU is a 24 bed acute care unit specializing in the care of stable but critically ill patients.
Our goal is to provide transition level care to patients who while stable, still require a high degree of support.
The IMC patient population consists of a wide range of both medical and surgical diagnosis including:
Kidney transplant, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Respiratory Disorders, End of Life Cancer, and Ventilator management with an emphasis on weaning.
Assignments are based on patient acuity and staff skill level.
The usual nurse/patient ratio is 3:

Follow the link to learn about our Nurse's!We are looking for a full-time Registered Nurse Fellow for our MCCSU at Inova Fairfax Hospital to perform comprehensive assessment by interpreting multiple, sometimes conflicting data, formulates an individualized plan of care for patients based on assessment findings, advocates patients' rights from the patient/family perspective, coordinates health care and alternate services for patient/family.
We will consider an experienced RN new to the specialty.
Schedule:
Full time (36 hr/week) 3- 12 hour shiftsCandidates are eligible for sign on bonus and relocation.
Those relocating from more than 50 miles away will also receive relocation assistance.
Requirements:
Education:
BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
If RN has an associate degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of the start date- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred (must obtain within first 3 months)- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others-Proficient computer skills requiredInova Job ID #644105.
