We are looking for individuals who are interested in making a positive impact in children's lives through teaching various Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs.
STEM activities include:
robotics, coding, gaming (Minecraft), science and more! Compensation:
$25-$40/hour based on experience Projected Hours:
3-5 Hours Per Week (if able to teach multiple subjects, the ability to increase hours extends!) Specific Locations as well around:
Falls Church, VA Arlington, VA Centreville, VA Alexandria, VA Fairfax, VA Springfield, VA Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare for class each day Teach provided curriculum to a group of 8-15 children in a structured environment (about 1.
5-2 hours per day) Computer, robotics kits or science equipment management Manage the children in an appropriate and safe manner Ensure students are safely dismissed following class Communicate effectively with children, parents and Baroody Camps staff Implement COVID-19 policies and procedures Qualifications and Skills:
Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED Must have proficient computer skills Excellent communication skills High level of classroom management and customer service skills Works well under pressure Must be available to teach at least 2-3 times per week Vehicle transportation required Baroody Camps provides on site and on the job training.
