Part Time PositionHours:
Monday-Friday (8am -2pm) Some after-hours and weekend duties (building maintenance and emergencies)Duties Include:
- Maintaining a safe environment for all tenants.
- Supervising the security and fire prevention system.
- Coordinating Scheduling Maintenance, testing, inspections, and repair work in the building by various vendors - Daily walk through:
conduct checklist inspection of property to include (but not limited to below).
If any issues are seen/work with service provider on immediate resolution.
o Interior o Exterioro Parking Lot/Grounds o Elevatorso HVAC Systemo Plumbing Systemso Trash Containers - Logging status of specific systems and conditions on a daily, monthly, annual basis - Monitor common area cleaning (lobby and hallways).
- Simple building maintenance and repair work (i.
e.
changing light bulbs, ceiling tiles, etc.
).
- Responding to tenants and occupants to resolve various issues.
- Preparing building invoices to tenants/owners.
- Attending required regularly scheduled monthly meetings with the Board of Directors to report on multiple building systems and provide information on various building projects and issues.
You will be required to prepare a written report and present that report at the board meeting each month.
- Receiving and forwarding mail and checks received for the Building's Unit Owners Association.
Create a process for recording and tracking these payments.
Candidate must:
- Have excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Possess basic computer skills (i.
e.
, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Basic understanding of mechanics and engineering preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to handle complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to be proactive in troubleshooting building maintenance issues.
Recommended Skills Communication Maintenance Mechanical Engineering Microsoft Office Plumbing Problem Solving Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
