Dulin is a half day, play based, cooperative preschool in Falls Church, VA.
Salary Range:
$20-$25/hour.
Based on education, prior experience and other qualifications School Year hours:
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (Days are flexible and subject to change) during the school year from 9:
00am - 1:
00pm (12 hours per week) Any additional daily time that may be necessary for fulfillment of duties including, but not limited to training hours Attend a monthly staff meeting and a monthly board meeting Summer hours Additional one-hundred thirty-four (134) summer hours for registration processing The Employee may set his/her own schedule for these hours in collaboration with the Teacher-Director and Executive Board, such that his/her duties are completed as required Preferred
Qualifications:
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures including Google Workspace Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ideal Candidate will:
Have experience with a co-op preschool environment Be organized, punctual, responsible and committed to Dulin Cooperative Preschool's success and excellence in education Use positive and supportive interactions with young children and their parents Respect the diverse backgrounds and contributions of others Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Licensing Leading the Licensing renewal process and facilitating licensing inspections Maintaining family and staff files to comply with licensing requirements Reviewing licensing requirements regularly to ensure compliance Reviewing annual applicable law updates Communicate all licensing related information to the Executive Board Registration Respecting and maintaining the confidentiality of student, family and school information Updating registration forms annually Distributing, collecting, and reviewing all paperwork required from all families Creating and maintaining family files Notifying families of outstanding paperwork as necessary, including tracking the expiration dates of required paperwork to keep the files up-to-date.
Submitting completed background checks for all adults/staff as required Verifying student identification prior to school participation Creating and maintaining emergency contact database Completing medication authorizations & checking-in medication Coordinating enrollment for optional programs with the Membership Coordinator Creating, maintaining and distributing Family Roster to membership Creating email communication lists for school and classes Staff Maintaining professional conduct and attitudes in working with parents and staff as well as visitors and the general public Creating and maintaining staff files as it pertains to licensing compliance in conjunction with the President Attending monthly staff meetings Attending monthly board meetings Attending Orientation annually Attending special meetings and conferences when called, and occasional weekend or evening events as approved by the Executive Board.
Meeting the VDOE licensing requirements for continuing education, currently 16 hours per school year.
Maintaining proof of negative TB screening and state required background checks Being able to lift 25 pounds, walk up and down stairs, and get up and down from the floor Serving as substitute teacher, as needed Agreeing to background checks as required by licensing Maintaining required certifications for a Teacher including, but not limited to, CPR/FA, MAT, DHO Facility Creating and maintaining allergy lists, emergency drill log, accident reports and attendance sheets Maintaining supply of office products, purchase as needed Completing other administrative projects as approved by the Executive Board.
In the event that the school elects to close down for an extended amount of time in response to circumstances beyond its control (i.
e.
a global pandemic), the Employee may be responsible for implementing alternative resources (e.
g.
distance learning, delays in start date, change in class schedule, change in class size, etc) under the guidance of the Teacher-Director and the Executive Board.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
