We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU or PCICU) Registered Nurse.
Two years' PICU/PCICU or ICU experience with pediatric cardiac experienced strongly preferred.
Department Specific InformationThe PICU at Inova Children's Hospital is the only one of its kind in Northern Virginia.
Our multi-specialty level I unit provides advanced technology and intensive care for critically ill and injured patients from birth to age 21.
The unit has earned recognition for the care given to our region's most fragile children, including the AACCN Beacon Silver Award for Pediatric Critical Care Excellence 2016 - 2019.
The PICU has 26-beds including 8 CVICU beds.
Schedule:
Full Time (3-12-hour shifts)- Night shiftCandidates are eligible to receive up to $20,000 as a competitive sign on bonus.
Those relocating from more than 50 miles away will also receive relocation assistance.
Front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to Quality and Best Practices to improve clinical operation of the unit; embraces, uses and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools.
Supports unit-based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes.
Reports to Director.
