We are a home to over 500 athletes ranging from professionals & semi-professionals to recreational athletes in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Wrestling, Judo, Kickboxing, & Capoeira.

The Performance Coach will help to support the professional fighters at 50/50 Martial Arts Academy and other recreational fighters and athletes that they work with.
This position will be located within the Fifty/50 Martial Arts Academy, in Falls Church, VA.
The Performance Coach will create, implement, and lead all strength and conditioning sessions and help to maintain the performance space.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Strength, Conditioning and Movement Skill Coaching Working with 50/50 Fighters to set their performance goals, and customizing programs to reach stated goals.
Provide performance evaluation and testing when necessary Expand performance training options to 50/50 clients and outside interested parties in an effort to go the business.
Enhances knowledge of exercise, movement skills, and cardiovascular capacity to fighters and participants Required:
ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, CPT, or other nationally recognized Performance Training Certification.
1-2 years' experience in performance and/or personal training.
Background knowledge of a variety of sports and athletic activities.
Background in working with injured athletes and adult populations.
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Exercise Science or Athletic Training and 1-2
years of practical experience, or 10
years of practical experience without a Bachelor's in Exercise Science.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Certified Athletic Trainer Demonstrated experience managing health and wellness programs Diet and nutrition expertise Active CPR and AED certification Job Type:

$50,000.
