We are currently seeking an LPN for the Day Shift (7 am to 3 pm).
Job Duties Assesses physical, psychological, and social dimensions of residents.
Initiates care based on assessment data, applies gerontological nursing knowledge of specific illness, injuries, diseases, human behavior, and appropriate standards of care.
Works with doctors in the clinic and getting residents to clinic for their appointments.
Demonstrates clinical judgment and technical skills in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Intervenes with proper technique, procedure, and safety precautions to meet individual needs of resident.
Documents nursing intervention, resident response, effectiveness, complications, etc.
; communicates information to physician and other Health Team members.
Qualifications Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program.
Must have current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or compact state of residence.
Must have current CPR certification.
Must possess ability to deal tactfully with residents, staff and family members.
