Work you'll doThe SRE engineer will be responsible for keeping all user-facing services and production systems running smoothly.
Across multiple practices within Deloitte, as an SRE engineer, you will work with multiple teams across our organization to introduce SRE principles, establish reliability goals, and develop tooling for operational observability.
This is a true hybrid role where skills in software development, cloud architecture, networking, security, and systems administration can be applied daily, and offers the opportunity to work with a virtually endless array of technology, tools, patterns, and practices.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate and work closely with the software engineers to ensure that Deloitte infrastructure and services are designed and optimized for availability, latency and performanceDrive and build automation wherever possible, enabling our infrastructure and platforms to scale effortlessly.
Participate in and contribute to improving our incident response.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA), Troubleshoot and debug issues across our infrastructure and platform services to identify and fix root cause.
Participate in Capacity planning for the infrastructure and platform and help teams prepare for growth.
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud native services in AWS, Azure and GCP that are elastic and resilient to failure.

QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.

years of software development, software engineering and/or system operations experience supporting cloud offering3
years of experience architecting, deploying, supporting IaaS and PaaS cloud infrastructure in Azure, AWS or GCP3
years of Experience with CICD pipelines with tools like Azure Devops, GitLab, GitHub Actions, AWS Code Build/Code Pipeline, Jenkins3
years of experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet1-3 years of Experience with DevOps engineering or SREAutomation, development skillsetHands-on experience in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP - both IaaS and PaaSSkilled with CICD patterns, practices, and tools (Azure Devops, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Code Pipeline, Code Build, Cloud Pipeline, Cloud Build, etc.
)Skilled with application monitoring - APM & User Experience monitoring patterns, practices and tools (Dynatrace, NewRelic, Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, etc.
